Mobile Deposit with "Snappy the Mobile Teller" 

Deposit checks from your mobile device, quickly, conveniently and at no cost! With Snappy you can deposit checks anywhere, anytime using the Union State Bank Mobile App on your smart phone or iPad tablet.

  • No additional enrollments or approval required - Instantly access mobile deposit once you are enrolled in online banking and have downloaded the mobile banking app.
  • No fees - Mobile deposit is a free service for Union State Bank customers
  • Quick Setup - Simply review and accept the mobile deposit agreement during your initial use of mobile deposit and begin depositing checks immediately. 

You must be enrolled in Online Banking.

Apply For Online Banking

For those already enrolled in Online Banking and have downloaded the Mobile Banking app:

  1. From your device, log in to the Mobile Banking app.
  2. Tap "Deposit a Check" from any of the following places:
    • The thumb bar located at the bottom of the app's screen, or
    • Tap: Menu > Transactions > Deposit a Check
  3. From the Remote Deposit screen, select your deposit account from the drop down menu.
  4. Enter the check amount.
  5. Take photos of the front and back of the check. Be sure to:
    • Place the check on a flat, well-lit surface.
    • Endorse the back of the check with your signature and "for mobile deposit only at USB."
  6. Review and confirm your details.
  7. Tap "Submit."

You will receive a message confirming that your deposit has been successfully submitted and is under review.

Snappy Mobile Deposit can be used with the following accounts (as long as they are accessible through your Online Banking):
• Checking accounts
• Savings accounts
• Money Market accounts 
Yes. Common items that we will not accept for mobile deposit are: 
• Items that have been previously electronically captured and endorsed
• Checks not properly endorsed by all payees
• Foreign items
• Savings bonds
• Checks payable to another person
• Items that are missing processing information such as illegible or missing account or bank routing numbers
• Pay on sight items
• Remotely created checks
• Altered checks
• Checks that are postdated or more than 6 months old
• Cash 
The current daily dollar limit is $2,500.00 per day. There is an item limit of 5 per day. The maximum item amount per day is $2,500.00. The current rolling 30 day dollar limit is $5,000.00. Daily and monthly deposit limits may vary for users of other Services.
In general, if an image of an item you transmit through the Services is received and accepted before 6:00 p.m. CST on a business day that we are open, we consider that day to be the day of your deposit. Otherwise, we will consider that the deposit was made on the next business day we are open. Properly presented checks deposited using the Services will generally be made available the next business day following the day of deposit.
