Bradley Bryant to Focus on Agri-Business Full Time
Union State Bank’s Market President for Arkansas City is trading his desk for the dirt. After nine years at the bank, Bradley Bryant has made the decision to retire from the world of finance to focus full-time on his growing agri-business operation.
“I grew up on a family farming operation focused on grain production in Cowley and Sumner counties. While my career led me into accounting and finance, I never stepped away from the farm. I remained active in the operations and supported my parents during the busy seasons,” explained Bryant. “In 2012, the farm transitioned to my ownership, and I’ve continued to grow the operation with the long-term goal of eventually dedicating my full-time focus to it. I feel that now is the right time to make that transition, allowing me to fully invest in the farm’s future while continuing to contribute to the community in a different capacity.”
Bryant joined Union State Bank in 2016 as a commercial / agri-business loan officer. He was promoted to Senior Vice President and Arkansas City Market President in 2020.
“It was a fantastic opportunity to expand my role in the market, leading a strong team dedicated to serving the community I proudly call home,” said Bryant. The transition to a leadership role has been both rewarding and fulfilling, allowing me to make a greater impact while working alongside an incredible team. They work hard every day to support our customers and ensure the bank continues to grow, thrive and serve our community.”
With Bryant’s final day at USB scheduled for March 28th, his goal moving forward is to continue to expand his agribusiness operation.
“Over the years, the (agri-business) operation has grown in size and scope. Through strategic partnerships, we’ve expanded grain production, increased our cattle operations, and added seed and other agricultural product sales,” said Bryant. “This next phase allows me to continue growing and building the farm’s legacy alongside Jeana and my kids while honoring the foundation my parents built.”
Although he is looking forward to his increased focus on farming, Bryant said he has enjoyed his time at USB.
“I’ve built incredible relationships with customers, community members, and colleagues. Working alongside them has been truly rewarding, and I’m grateful for the friendships and connections I’ve made,” Bryant said. “I leave with complete confidence that customers will continue to be well taken care of by the outstanding team at USB.”
Bryant expressed his gratitude for the relationships formed through Union State Bank.
“I want to sincerely thank my colleagues, customers, and the community for their support over the years. It has been an incredible experience to be part of USB, and I’m truly grateful for the relationships I’ve built,” said Bryant. “While I’m looking forward to this next chapter, I will always value the time I’ve spent here and the people who have made it so meaningful.”
