“Kirk is a veteran banker and I am glad that he brought his experience to Union State Bank. We are excited to have him join our commercial lending team and look forward to the opportunity that this presents within our Northern Oklahoma territory,” stated Kurtz. “Bringing Kirk into our Bartlesville market, allows us to continue to provide excellent customer service to our commercial customers, while expanding our calling efforts within the region.”

Hamilton will office out of Union State Bank’s branch located at 4110 Nowata Road in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Hamilton and his wife have lived in Bartlesville for the past 24 years.

“Kirk is well known and actively involved in the Bartlesville community.  His focus will be in lending, and his ag and commercial lending expertise will bring great value to our customers,” said Brittany Welch, Executive Vice President for Union State Bank and Chief Credit Officer.

Hamilton’s interest in banking began at a very young age.

“I decided to become a banker when I was six years old,” said Hamilton. “My hometown banker was a close friend with my parents, and I idolized him.  He made banking look fun, so I thought why not!”

Hamilton is excited to return to banking within the community which he has called home for so many years.

“It has been several years since I have actively been in the Bartlesville market.  I will work hard to reacquaint myself with prior and new customers.
